Schoharie Fire Department

The Schoharie Fire Department is always accepting applications from volunteers to join us as a firefighter or fire police, or simply support us as an auxillary or associate member.   If you are a resident of the Village or Town of Schoharie, are sixteen years or older, want to give back to the community, make new friends, receive hands-on training, or simply want to learn what we do, come on down and talk to us.  You can pick up a volunteer application at our Fire Station located at 137 Grand Street in downtown Schoharie.  Return the application to the fire station or to any of the officers or members. 

Once you return the application, our Membership Committee will meet with you, review your application and get an idea of who you are.  At the next monthly meeting, your application will be read to the general membership and after the reading, the membership will vote on your application for probationary status.
